Terms of Service
Site-use rules for 24hseriesesports.com, plus the licence covering team and driver content submitted to the championship.
About these terms
These Terms of Service govern your use of 24hseriesesports.com
(the "Site"), operated by WSR Group Ltd., a company registered in
England and Wales (Companies House 14327353), 44 Tyburn Lane,
Pulloxhill, Bedford, England, MK45 5HG ("we", "us", or "WSR").
By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
These terms apply to use of the public website only. Participation in the 24H Series Esports championship is additionally governed by the sporting and technical regulations published on /rules, which take precedence over the Site terms wherever the two overlap.
Eligibility
- Drivers and team representatives are typically at least 16 years old. Applicants under 16 are still eligible, provided their parent or legal guardian has given explicit written consent to their participation.
- By registering a driver, the team representative confirms that the driver is either at least 16 years old, or holds written consent from a legal guardian. That written consent does not need to be uploaded at registration, but must be produced if requested by the series organiser; the team is responsible for retaining it (for example, a signed guardian-consent form held on file).
- Where local law sets a higher threshold for processing personal data, that higher threshold applies and overrides the rule above for the affected applicant.
We may refuse access, suspend an entry, or remove published content where these eligibility conditions are not met — including where the guardian-consent evidence for an under-16 applicant cannot be produced on request.
What the Site is for
The Site exists to inform you about the 24H Series Esports championship — the schedule, the entries, the standings, the rules, and the broadcast. It is not a transactional service. We do not sell goods, accept payment, or grant access to gated content from the Site itself; team registration is handled separately through the linked Google Form on /enter.
Accounts
We do not currently offer user accounts on the Site. There is nothing for you to sign up for. If we add an account system in the future, these terms will be updated and you will be told before any data is collected.
Acceptable use
When using the Site you agree not to:
- attempt to interfere with the operation of the Site (denial of service, scraping at a rate intended to disrupt, exploit attempts),
- copy or republish substantial portions of the Site's content outside the licence below,
- impersonate another person, team, driver, or official,
- use the Site in a way that breaks the law or infringes another person's rights.
We may suspend or block access where these conditions are not met.
Site content — our copyright
The Site's design, text (except quoted regulations sourced from the official regulations document), photography, and underlying code are the property of WSR Group Ltd. or used with permission from the rightsholders.
You may:
- view the Site for personal, non-commercial use,
- share links to public pages,
- quote short extracts (one or two paragraphs) with attribution and a link back to the source page.
You may not reproduce, redistribute, modify, or build derivative works from substantial portions of the Site's content without our written permission.
Team and driver content — your licence to us
When you submit a team entry, a driver registration, a livery, team artwork, or any other content to the championship, you grant WSR Group Ltd. a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use that content for the purposes of:
- running the championship (entries lists, results, scoring),
- producing and broadcasting championship events,
- promoting the championship and its broadcasts through the Site, partner channels, and social media.
This licence is for the duration of the championship season in which the content was submitted, plus a reasonable archive period afterwards. It does not transfer ownership of your content to us — you retain copyright and may use the same content elsewhere.
If you do not own the rights to content you submit (for example, a livery using a third party's branding), it is your responsibility to clear those rights before submission.
Third-party services
The Site links to and embeds content from third parties — including YouTube broadcasts, the Google Form registration link, and partner websites. Your use of those services is governed by those services' own terms and privacy policies. We have no control over their content and accept no liability for it (see Legal Notice).
Information accuracy
We work to keep the schedule, entries, standings, and results pages accurate, but they are subject to corrections by the championship's race control. The canonical sporting result is always the version published by race control, not necessarily the version cached on the Site at any given moment.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law:
- the Site is provided "as is" and we do not warrant uninterrupted availability, accuracy, or fitness for any particular purpose;
- we accept no liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of (or inability to use) the Site;
- nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded by law.
Privacy
How we handle personal data on the Site is set out in the Privacy Policy. It is part of these terms by reference.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage for at least 14 days before they take effect.
Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any dispute relating to them or to your use of the Site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Nothing in this clause limits any rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory law of your country of residence.
